Events and Initiatives

What’s happening in your neighborhood?

There are so many events happening everywhere.  One of the easiest ways to be in relationship with the city is to get involved!  And, we are all so involved.  Regular events create environments where we can know, like, and build trust outside of the zoom environment.

Consider the Triad.  The meeting after the meeting.  Every meeting comes with a Triad where we can dive deeper into current projects, current events, sharing stories from our lives, etc.  And, don’t forget the fairy dust!  (Gay joke!) Bring it and sprinkle it throughout the experience.  Afterall, we’re celebrating LGBTQ!

Register now for the December 18th of the Month, Happy Hour (of course!) 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM CST!

Thank you for your support of LGBTQ + Allies Chicago!

“In meeting with everyone last night, I'm reminded of the power of community with others who have a shared experience and perspective, creating a space of safety, comfort, and freedom to be who I am - fully.

I've got plenty of resources that allow me to access communities' professional careers as business leaders and plenty that connect with colleagues that share being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. But finding the unique intersection of the two is much more difficult, and the efforts of last night (LGBTQ + Allies Chicago) proactively sought to create that space.

Thank you so much for coordinating this and I look forward to joining in as much as I can!”
